Google renames its enterprise segment as Google for Work

The search engine giant Google has renamed its suite of enterprise tools as the Google for Work. Earlier known as the Google Enterprise, the suit comprises of business versions of Apps, Maps, Search, Chrome, Android and Cloud all the essential things under one roof. There are more than 5 million businesses that are using Google’s enterprise tools.

With the help of Google enterprise the users are able to get one stop solution for all the business requirements which include access to professional email, online storage, video conferencing and security tools, among other tools for $120 per user per year for unlimited storage for more than five users. Through this move Google wants to establish itself as an enterprise technology vendor.

The company is also set to give tough competition to the other in the segment like IBM, SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft. The company also aims to increase its growth revenue as 10% of the overall revenue comes from the enterprise segment of Google.
