SAP SE has introduced new SMB solutions Group. This new division will primarily focus on the needs of small and medium businesses which have a workforce of about 500 employees. This new division will work in the direction of fulfilling the increasing demand of technology by these small companies.

SAP believes in the motto of making business simpler and the SMB solutions Group will turn out to be the entry point for SAP customers and partners all around the world. Keeping the customer centric approach in mind the group will strive to develop a single focussed and dedicated approach which will help both the customers and the partners in long run.

The new division will work under the supervision of Dean Mansfield; he will be totally responsible for all the end-to-end operations. He will also be initialising the board strategy which will redefine the SMB solutions market and will create simplified and integrated business solutions. These solutions will be powered by SAP HANA which will be delivered through cloud and will solve the complex problems of SMB businesses. Along with this he will also be heading the SAP Business One application portfolio, this will function through the Global Partner Operations organization, and plans to hasten the adoption of SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, as well as the SAP Business One Cloud solution, version for SAP HANA.

Before becoming the part of SAP Mansfield had been the part of many organisations at senior levels. Moreover, he brings 20 years of his expertise in this filed to SAP.
