Red Hat launches new developer subscription program
Red Hat has launched a new developer subscription program for members of the JBoss Developer community. Through this new portfolio of subscription program, resources and technology offerings Red Hat wants to enable the developers to work efficiently with the and quickly. The newly launched JBoss developer program is a no-cost subscription plan and it will provide Red Hat’s enterprise-grade open source middleware technologies for developer use. As per the new program, Red Hat JBoss Middleware products are available for download by members of the JBoss Developer community to use in the construction of their own applications, without a paid subscription.
Along with this, the company has also integrated the JBoss Developer Studio to support the full application development lifecycle. Moreover, with the company has also introduced the major refresh of the JBoss Developer community site. Presently, the portal has more than 289,000 users and it is a one-stop shop for enterprise developers. It acts as a central location for information related to community projects, access to Red Hat’s enterprise middleware products under the new subscription, as well as support resources to help developers create and deploy applications.
