ViewSonic to target the escalating LCD touchscreen industry in India


New Delhi: ViewSonic Corp., a principal worldwide provider of visual solution products has placed upon its shoulders the task of confirming the abundant supply of its 23” Windows 8 certified display – entitled the TD2340.

The Touchscreen market is anticipated to stretch 14% growth in Fiscal 2015. As stated by a recent analysis report, the total touchscreen module market will grow to Rs.45, 556.25 crore ($9billion) by 2015, from Rs.18,222.50 crore ($3.6billion) in 2008, with a CAGR of 14 per cent. He further explicated the current Indian touchscreen scene by Rhetoricising, that, “The touchscreen industry here is extremely diverse; with different companies pursuing several different technologies. There are over a dozen touchscreen technologies. Resistive touchscreen is the leader in terms of unit shipments and over 60 companies are manufacturing it. However, both surface and projected capacitive technologies have attracted numerous suppliers, and many companies are also pursuing multi-touch capabilities. It is no surprise that mobile phones are the biggest application of touchscreens in terms of unit shipments but what sets our product apart is its exceptional interactivity.
