Foxconn, world’s leading manufacturer of computer components and systems, declared its cooperation with Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC) a China-based holding company of several Chinese automobile and machine manufacturers to be able to develop new-energy batteries for electric cars. Foxconn is anticipating gaining advantages in China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) market.

Foxconn from its barrio has been trying to enter the automobile market. In addition to the procurement of Antec International to be able to cleave its foray into the automotive wiring harness industry, the company is also supplying components and products for high-end car infotainment systems.
