Rackspace introduces Performance Cloud Servers in Asia
Rackspace one of the leading hybrid cloud service provider has announced the availability of its redesigned public cloud with Performance Cloud Servers in India. The offering made by the company will be available for customers throughout the Asia Pacific region including the countries like India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Greater China. This new offer will create a powerful hosting platform for various types of workloads like web hosting, e-commerce applications and many others.
According to a recent report by Gartner, nearly half of large enterprises will have hybrid cloud deployments by the end of 2017. Moreover, the companies in the Asia Pacific region are adopting hybrid cloud technology very fast. This further indicates that Rackspace can do very well in these regions with its offerings. The Rackspace Performance Cloud Servers will enable the customers to connect the new cloud servers to dedicated bare metal servers as part of the Rackspace Hybrid Cloud, which can provide an unparalleled level of application performance. The Rackspace Performance Cloud Servers are powered by an Intel Xeon E5 processors and 120GB of RAM. It comes with 2x more total CPU performance and 132x more total disk space both for input and output. Along with this the company also provides expert help in all the aspects of customer’s experience ranging from planning and architecting to day-to-day proactive management of customer’s hosted infrastructure to help ensure workloads are continuously up and running.
