The creator of business and financial management solutions Intuit Inc has joined forces with TiE Delhi-NCR in order to start a Financial Management Training venture for entrepreneurs and start-ups.  The motive of the training, which is set to start on 11 July, 2014 at the India Habitat Centre is to ensure improvements in the abilities of the entrepreneurs’ so that they can efficiently manage their finances. The curriculum for the training process is specially designed by Intuit.

Speaking about the collaboration Nikhil Arora, Vice President & Managing Director, Intuit India said, “Intuit is excited to collaborate with TiE Delhi-NCR on the upcoming financial management training because it teaches the core skills that every successful entrepreneur must have, but ironically, are often the last skills thought of. We ensured our approach to the training takes advantage of the real-life business experience the attendees already have and so the course is highly interactive and discussion-based. On the Monday after the training, attendees will be able to put what they learned into action in their businesses.”

The key focus area of the entire process of training will be on interpreting and simplifying the financial concepts. This will enable the entrepreneurs coming from the non-finance background to understand the financial market and make wise financial decisions. The course is divided into three modules which cover varied topics related to financial management. The essential topics incorporated include how to pitch the investors and approach the banks for funds, understanding of the core financial terms and indicators of growth. Apart from this the training programme will also provide insight about budgeting and invoicing and the technology solutions that will help in managing the day-to-day finances.
