Barracuda Networks rolls out Barracuda Backup 290

Barracuda Networks has rolled out Barracuda Backup 290 along with the capacity update to its present service the Barracuda Backup 390. These services help in providing flexibility in purchasing by supporting Barracuda Backup with data protection together with the recovery demands from small and medium sized enterprises.

The new offering of the company Barracuda 290 is powered with the storage space of up to 1TB which fits nicely between the 500GB Barracuda Backup 190 and the newly-adjusted 2TB Barracuda Backup 390. All these services can be purchased on the basis of subscriptions and under the Barracuda’s Backup-as-a-Service plan. This plan provided by the company include an appliance, Energize Updates, Instant Replacement and Unlimited Cloud Storage with one, three or five year payment options.

On the roll out of this new service, Rod Mathews, GM Storage at Barracuda, stated, “Giving customers’ choice and flexibility has always been a top priority for Barracuda.
